uneven front pad wear

I was rotating the wheels today, and noticed that the front brake pads on the left are worn more than on the right side. Not to the point to warrant a replacement, but enough to notice the difference.
I also remember that when I replaced the pads last year, the left side was a bit thinner too. Should I be concerned? What could be causing such uneven pad wear?
P.S. I have EBC Greens with stock rotors. The car is a 1999 LPT at 130K km.
