Saab is responsible for failure of the DI under terms of the original warranty.
Saab is probably not responsible for the subsequent fire which was caused by leaving the ignition "on", but I am not a lawyer.
The towing company probably is responsible for the subsequent fire, but they will deny it until a court orders them to pay.
Your brightest ray of hope is your auto insurance company. Hopefully they will pay for repairs/replacement first, and fight for restituiton from the gulty party(ies) second.
Sorry to hear this happened.
