I bought a 9-3 Aero this summer and traded in a 98 Audi A4 2.8Q for it. The interior in the Audi was much nicer, and so was the Bose stereo system. The Saab is much quicker than my Audi and it handles much better.
I agree with the comments about the interior, the 9-5 interior is far nicer and there is too much cheap plastic and vinyl in the new 9-3. I think if they went with the brushed aluminum panel on the dash like the 9-5 aero, it would help a lot. The allegedly upgraded stereo is awful.
