At 30K checkup dealer said I would never make it to the end of the lease at 36K miles. I ignored them and drove carefully to the end of the lease. The lease inspector never looked at the brakes and in fact there was nothing wrong with them. You don't need new brakes until you need new brakes if you know what I mean. How much thickness is left on your pads? If they aren't to the point where they are setting off the wear indicators they don't need to be replaced. Sinced the dealers always want you to put on new rotors it really doesn't matter if you drive them until they scream. Check your lease. Check the actual thickness of the rotors.
As to the comments from some others, the fact is that you have a contract with Saab and the contract governs. You don't have a moral or legal obligation to replace what you use. Quite the opposite. The paid to use up the brakes so use them up. If you go too far you will have to pay. If not, not. Enjoy your new car.
