Lucas when it mixes with motor oil, forms a kind of emulsion made of [Duh..], the original oil, Lucas oil and AIR!!!
The presence of air reduces all the characteristics of the oil (friction, resistance to heat, heat exchange and what not...)
I am by no means an expert but always remembered to stay away from Lucas..
