It can easily be done just as it would on any other car. If you've got a manual transmission, you'd need to open up the ignition lock unit and remove the lock-out lever, or bend it to uselessness. My '86 900S has the lever removed, so the reverse lockout does not function. Personally, I think installing a remote starter on a car with a manual transmission is downright dangerous, but to each his own....
