Interested in the previous thread, my '85 did something like that this morning. Upon startup running was very rough and idiot light came on, starter would partially engage with dieseling type sound. After reving motor ran smoothly for 10 minutes at idle. Shut it down and the same thing repeated... maybe due to burning low octane????
