Let me say this...if you are going to stay with the stock rims then I would not recommend going past the designated 195 width. I believe that the stock rims are 5.5 inches wide and if you were to go with something like a 205/55 it would most likely result in the tire bubbling out quite a bit. This also depends on your driving style. I have 15" Konig Monsoons on my '84 900T and decided to go with 205/55 Pirellis. It was decent, but even though these aftermarket rims were 6" or 6.5" wide (can't remember which now!), I still got a bit of a bubblimg out effect with the tires. So next time I think that I will go with a 50 series to flatten out the sidewall a bit and hopefully this will create less rollover when I'm hitting those hard turns. Just my 2 cents worth. To reiterate - if you are sticking with stock rims for that year - then stick with 195/60.
