Credit where credit is due -- thanks so much for your efforts on this website. As a Saab resource, it's been invaluable to me. With the encouragement and help of the good folks on this board, I've had a fantastic summer with my car. Thanks to this site:

1) I fixed many small things that might have gone un-fixed, like the twisting headlight switch and a sagging headliner,

2) I was clued in to some great vendors and suppliers from your sponsor's page, and got terrific prices on items like an O2 sensor, headlamp assembly, charcoal canister, etc., which would have cost many times more at the Saab dealership,

3) I had the moral support and encouragement of some terrific people when I had questions or problems -- even met a couple of fellow Saabers as a result (and am looking forward to the Saab-In in Miami next summer),

4) I tackled projects I never did myself before (like a water pump and belt replacement) and succeeded, saving many hundreds of dollars in labor costs,

and 5) got into a whole new world of performance enhancement and tuning with SPG9 upgrades, thanks again to this site.

I'm not sure what the fuss was about, but from what I gather here, someone posted some non-Saab political commentary, you removed it, and they complained about how you run the site. Well, if that was the case, then I'm on your side. We can certainly share TOPICAL humor, that is, Saab-related, and I've never detected any sort of censorship from you in that arena... and I've described such things as getting wedged upside down under my steering wheel, and how I used a Garden Weasel to remove a stubborn O2 sensor!

There are plenty of other websites people can go to for other forms of amusement. I like to check into this site every day or so, and catch up on the new postings. It's harder to do with non-topical posts, so I applaud your diligence in weeding them out for me.

Keep up the good work, Scott, and a million thanks for all you do from this Saab owner in Florida.
