but then you have to remember to shut it off once engine warms up or else you're shutting out the 02 sensor and your mileage goes to hell.
But I'd simply replace the sensor before I went to all the trouble of wiring up a bypass switch. OTOH, it might be fun to put in a new sensor AND hook up a bypass switch, for a belt and suspenders type of fix.
