Removing the plastic clutch cover, what a pain!

As per instructions from Jeff & Royce's Saab Extravaganza, I am attempting to do a clutch job. I got all the way to the point where you have to actually remove the pastic cover. I got all the bolts holding it on off (there were only two, apparently i'm not the first to take it off!), but I can't remove the cover. From what I can tell, it appears the oil pick-up line for the turbo is in the way, but in the picture at the website its shown completely intact and untouched. To get the pastic cover off, I have to lift it straight up first b/c of the way its shaped at the bottom, and this is where the metal line (oil pick-up i think, goes into top of turbo) is in the way...
Is there some special twisting of the cover that makes it slide right out, or do I just need to keep taking hoses and lines and ducts out until theres room to manuvear it free?
