Clutch slave question... Posted by JustinHiFi [Email] (#829) [Profile/Gallery] (more from JustinHiFi) on Mon, 11 Dec 2000 09:01:11 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
About 3 months ago I had the master cylinder replaced. Now the pedal will occasionally go to the floor. Usually only happens in the morning. I just keep my foot against the pedal with minamal pressure. Eventually, the pedal will sink to the floor. Also, it does not occur all the time, sometimes I will have foot on the pedal and it will not drop an inch.
I have also noticed that there is a small amount of fluid that has seeped out from the little plastic cover in the big clutch cover. I'm not sure if it is brake/clutch fluid or not. I'm aware that the slave is located in the clutch area. My mecanic said that the slave usually goes with the master, but when he replaced the master it fixed all the problems.
What does this indicate?
Thank you very much,

My new harmonic balancer will be here on Tuesday! Got it from SobStory.com for $89! Thanks for all your help with my squeels! I'll probably have my mechanic put it in this weekend.
