what are other possibilities of removing it? If I pull the engine and take off the part of the transmission which has the drive chains in it, will that free up the clutch shaft? If I do have to pull the engine, I would replace the head gasket due to the amount of oil it leaks (possible cause of the clutch slip in the first place!) But, regardless, this stopped being a DIY project for me due to the lack of a suitable device to pull the engine!
Maybe I need to admit defeat and find another car, yet another dead Classic 900... How many are there still running and how long before they become collectors items?
'90 900 Turbo 178k mi., I wanted to get at least to 180k mi!
