Some miscellaneous questions I hope people can answer:

1) My car tends to run hot when I'm at idle for a long period of time, but otherwise drives fine (and is quite temperate when driving). I've seen answers to this problem with 9000's, but can't verify it for 900's. Took a brief look under the hood to see if there are any obvious obstructions or problems, saw none. Help?

2) Car makes noise that sounds like a bad cam follower. Can't pin it down. Also seems to be leaking fluid from around the head gasket area. Not sure what it is.

3) Car lost a good deal of power steering fluid over the past week or so. What are some common places to look for leaks? Also makes a sort of squishy sound when doing sharp turns.

4) Keep cracking the lenses to my foglamps with those curbs that are just too damned close :); anyone know where I can find some steel grates to protect them?

5) How do you dislodge the center console (from behind the ignition on back) to get at the area near the parking brake?

6) Does anyone know where I can get various parts for my car (battery heat shield, new plastic panel covering for underside of steering column, front right speaker cover, new taillight lenses) aside from dealerships?
