Congratulations, you've spelled Hakka right.
Nokia (now nokian) makes four varieties of passenger car snow tires that I am aware of. Swing by their website at http://www.nokiantyres.com/indexen.html, they have lots of info there. I have driven on the Hakka Q for three months now, and they are mushy at times, but quiet. And great in snow, as I found out today. Those rent-a-cops at my college must hate me by now with what I do in the parking lots.
The older Hakka 10s are a bit noisy, but nowhere near as noisy as the two different varieties of pirelli snows we have encountered, one of which (winter 190) made the entire front end of our '85 shake so much the dash would vibrate.
If you check the graph on the web page, the Hakka 1s are only better than the Qs if you plan on having them studded. I went with the Qs since I plan to buy summer tires (which rules out dry pavememt handling) and don't plan on having them studded.
This summer I ran two Hakka 10s all year, not by choice, and the noise was barely noticeable. They handle well.
For the first week or so, the Hakka Qs were very mushy until those little hairy things wore off.
I'm not sold on Blizzaks yet because the compound is so soft, and because every pair (used) that comes off a Volvo at work seems to wear unevenly. I don't know how much attention the owners paid to the pressures, but it's still a little too suspicious.
Hope this isn't too long. Sure, now I say it.
