Ah back again I'm amazed at just how well you can get these cars to run. I was coming back from a Christmas party last night with my wife and then I came across a new Black Dodge Truck 5.9 RT. So its a few steps above the regular truck and I've seen similar RT's run a 15.5. The guy had some flowmasters on, and was loud as hell. I was just crusing not looking to play, since it was late. But my wife mentioned that he was becomming a pest and smiles. (for non married folks that means "time to get on it.") Was in 3rd doing 35 when it started out, heard the truck downshift and it wasn't gaining in fact it was all over I kept the lead and gained some distance, not much but some. Slowed it back down to stop for a light. Then this loud big black blurr screams by at least 80-90 mph. Was some kid and wanted to go from the next light. Also I've been spanked soo many times when I loose I usually at the next light give the guy or gal a thumbs up. Nope not this tought guy, reving that engine to around 4-5k waiting for the light to change. And his tranny to puke with the Neutral Atomic Drop. He was probably because he was baffeled of what just took place. Plus I didn't feel like trashing the tranny just to win the reaction time game. Wrong car. I can just guess what was going thru his mind while going from 30-75 and he didn't destroy a Saab? At the light he lost about a good 1,000-1,500 miles from the wheel spin, which I"ll give it an B+. Wife was very impressed as well. What gets an A+ in my book is when I see sparks when the wheel is warn down to the rim. Now thats cool, plus the sound is like nothing I've heard before. But it just baffeles me that when these Saabs run, then can run really well! And its these moments that keep me sticking more $$ into instead of getting a newer toy. Plus I'd love to feel what this car would do at sea level, like another 10-14 % faster....cool.. I can't imagine what it would do with the next step up in performance ie larger turbo or IC. Kudos again to SPG 9 and Sweedish Dynamics, you guys really know your stuff!! Plus there's a kid driving around the Denver area trying to figure out what go fast stuff for next time, oh and also shoping for new tires as well.
