I'm not buying replacement piaas due to the price and my tight budget. My ecode headlight assemblies came with regular halogen bulbs. I drove around with them before installign the piaas. I didn't use test equipment but I sure noticed a difference in lighting. It could be a trick of the eye with the tint of the bulbs, I guess. Then, after one of the piaas blew out, I re-installed the regular halogen (of same wattage) and thought the lighting was worse. I noticed daniel stern doesn't recommend the 80/100 watt h-4's for plastic headlights... There goes that idea! maybe I'll try the 80/100 watt in the right side light. That's the one that the rock hit and scratched up the reflector. If it melts I'd have an excuse to buy a new reflector!
