Hi Alian,
I could have described it much better the first time. There is weather stripping that is firmly attached to the rear quarter window (facing the driver's side rear quarter window, the weather stripping runs the entire length of the left hand side of the glass).
When my drivers side/door window is wound completely up, there is a noticable space between the door glass and the weather stripping it rests up against. The lower portion of the door glass appears to rest up against the weather stripping fine, yet the higher half of the glass appears to pull away somewhat...maybe a cm or two by the time it reaches the top.( as if someone had forcefully pulled on the top portion of the glass)
As for the lateral alignment at the top, where the top of the door glass 'inserts' into the convertible top weather stripping, that 'seems' fine.
I'm still a little foggy at how this stopper can effect the longitudinal alignment, but after all, it is a Saab...
Thanks
Norm
