Did this 6 months ago - great stuff! You were told the truth. My problem was wedging the cover back in between the head and oil pan. Ended up cutting away the oil pan gasket at the timing cover and using the Loctite to form the entire thing and I have no leaks. BTW, I used small wire ties to hold the head gasket in place while wedging the cover in and then cut them off after the cover was in place. I found it impossible not to disturb the existing gaskets. If you have any other tricks to make this go easier, let me know. Another thing: YOU MUST MAKE ABSOLUTELY SURE THE PICKUP TUBE FOR THE OIL PUMP IS PERFECTLY SEATED IN THE TIMING COVER WITH A NEW O-RING OR YOU WILL NOT HAVE OIL PRESSURE. I used a 3/8" allen wrench with some vacuum line over the short leg as a pickup tube alignment tool. KenMB@aol.com
