1) first verify stock springs are still there
2) if small sharp bumps are harsh, likely needs shocks ... they can go bad by going stiff on sharp bumps. oem type boge 'turbos' are standard replacement, boge 'hydraulics' will give a softer ride. sobstory.com
3) as was said, 195-65-15 tires will give much smoother ride on rough city streets, vs 195-60 oem size. worked for me. speedo error .... at 50 mph indicated, you will be a 51.6 mph. better winter grip too.
