I don't know about the transmission oil leak as I have not had to replace that seal. The water pump is pretty straight forward job that can be done at home. Just loosen the pulley bolts(4) before slackening the belt and make sure you inspect your hoses before disassembling as they may need replacement and this could lead to another trip to the parts store.
