Two things can occur when a head gasket blows. First the coolant can get into the oil or the opposite- oil into coolant. Also coolant can just get into the cylinders and get burned up more or less. With yours I would say it is the latter. Coolant bubbling from the overflow tank sounds like some of the compression is leaking off into the cooling system and creating what you found. Also, the cloud of white smoke from the tailpipe is indicative of coolant in the cylinders. With this you will often find a spark plug that looks like it has been sandblasted- very clean. The # 1 plug you describe as oil fouled. Did you smell it to make certain it was not gasoline? I would imagine that a plug could quit working and be dark from fuel or oil. Then again it is possible that an oil galley has let loose a torrent of oil & fouled the plug. However if that was the case, your exhaust would be blue not white. Try to pressure test the cooling system or run a compression test on the engine. Check the dipstick for signs of coolant on the stick. Sounds terminal or at least expensive.
