Look around for white powder, especially where a hose joins a fitting. That powder is the residue left after coolant leaks and evaporates. With a cold engine, tighten all hose clamps. In winter where there are big temperature swings between a cold-soaked engine and normal operation, the swings tend to push open clamps. You can be leaking just a little, sometimes only as the engine warms up or cools down, and the leak is small enough to evaporate before it can drip.
