Unless Spearco has updated their system, I wouldn't spend that kind of money on it. I bought one over 15 years ago for about $125 and was unhappy with what I got, I had a homemade setup then that worked just as well and I've seen another one that was purchased in the last two years and it was exactly the same thing.
The only nice piece in the whole system is the tank and it's way to small. Also it's hard to tell the level in it. The pump is a cheap windshield washer pump and the pressure switch is crap. The nozzles leave much be desired also, the water leaves the nozzle as a stream, then hits an angled notch to atomize the water, so the drops are pretty large. I went to the site and it looks like the pressure switch might be better than I had and the pump looks like a better unit too, but it is still just a washer
pump. I also would bet that the nozzles are the same.
You can build a better system than that, for much less money. For the reservoir, look for a coolant tank that has a switch in it, to indicate that the level is low; these are strong, hold more mixture, can be looked at to tell the level and can be pressurized. One of the best pressure switches out the is from a OG900 Turbo, commonly known as the overboost fuel cut switch. This switch can be setup as normally closed or open, the cut in and cut out is adjustable, and it is adjustable from about 5-25 psi. Adjustable Hobbs switches can be purchased from NAPA in normally closed or open, low pressure switches around 5 psi or higher pressure around 15 psi, they will tell you that they are not adjustable, but they are. Here's
another switch source: http://www.dawesdevices.com/switches.html(some water
injection info here too). The very best nozzles are from Aquamist and can be bought separately and reasonably, but if you go to Aquamist nozzles, you also need a much better pump. I use a fuel pump with a 3.0 bar regulator sourced from a Japanese car at the junkyard; this is a new setup for me, so I am unsure of how long the pump will work pushing water and alcohol. Other pump choices might be sourced from RV or agricultural sprayer places. Other nozzles can be sourced from McMaster, Grainger, or agricultural sprayer places. I presently am using 3 staged cold start injectors, the 1st one is from a Toyota @ 5 psi, then 2 from SAAB @10 & 15 psi.
I'd pass on the Spearco system, because you can build a better system for less money, but if you want to get a ready made system, the Aquamist mapable, http://www.aquamist.co.uk/, is the way to go.
I do not feel that water injection is a bandaid for a poorly designed system, but is a performance enhancement for those of us that must use pump gas in our cars. A well set up system will let you run at least 5 psi more boost without detonation on the same grade of fuel.
I hope this helps
