Check Engine Light/ AIC Valve Question Posted by MarcD [Email] (#835) [Profile/Gallery] (more from MarcD) on Tue, 2 Oct 2001 10:19:18 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Here is the deal: The check engine light came on about two weeks ago. Pulled the codes and it came up a mixture problem. Found a really messed up vacuum hose on the ELCD. Replaced and all was well...for a day. Decided to clean AIC and Throttle Body the next day. All was good for about 15 minutes when the check engine light came on again. Retrived the following codes; 12223 (mixture to lean) and 12213 (TPS adjust or short to ground). Tested the TPS per the Bently and it failed so it got replaced. The code (12213)won't go away. I'm reluctant to take apart the wiring harness unless I have to...Any ideas?
Thanks in advance,
Marc D
