Any help you can give would be very much appreciated!! The last couple of weeks I've noticed that the car was running a little rougher than norm. But, I could always seem to get through it no prob. i just figured it was bad gas or something. today after i started her up, she was running very bad...seemed to have no power...i chugged into the gas station and filled up, thinking that it was bad gas...and then she stalled and sputtered a bit as i moved her into the parking lot. Turned her off to go shopping, and that's where she is still sitting!! I checked and replaced the dist. cap and rotor...they were in bad shape...still no start. What else could it be? What about the fuel filter? Would that cause it to stop like this? Would a fuel pump go out slowly like this or would it just quit suddenly? Spark plugs don't seem too bad, and they are getting a spark.
ANY suggestions would be appreciated, as tomorrow is a holiday for us Canadians, and no mechanics are working (not that i want to take her to one anyways!!)
cheers!
Greg
