The last 'bushing' to replace on the front of my car is the driver side motor mount and upper a-arm bushings. Saving the best for last, I guess.

I took out the alt. without taking off my a/c
took out intake snorkle and filter
took out the coolant res.
took out the brake master (it leaks anyway)
removed the oil filter
removed oil filler tube
Did I miss anything?

and thats just to get there.

Getting the old mount out is not fun. I had to raise the motor up over an inch on that side along. I'm sure the new front mount was not happy. The newer hydraulic mounts look easier, are they?

The upper a-arm bushings were a walk in the park after the motor mount. Which by the way was in two pieces(the old motor mount), with a whole lot of air where there should have been rubber. Maybe my shifting will feel better?

All in all I'd have to say this procedure runs a close second to a head gasket replacement. Maybe even after a steering rack replacement, my back will let me know in the morning!
