'93 900T Pops Out of 2nd gear...

Good afternoon!
Couple quick questions on 1993 900T with 139K miles:
1) Under almost any deceleration conditions, transmission (original) pops out of 2nd gear. Is this a quick fix or am I likely to need new transmission? If new tranny, where/how much for a rebuilt one?
2) Can anyone recommend a good Saab indie in the Hanover, NH/Norwich, VT area?
Thanks,
Bill
