Just to follow up on the steering vibration... Just returned after another 900 mile trip and the car ran great!
Rather strange that no re-occurance of the original vibration. After talking with my mechanic, he thought it could be a motor mount and a little wear in the drivers..additionally since I just changed the coils it raised the front slightly and I would imagine put the axles in a little different running position in the drivers as compared to where they were before the change. With the added weight and the suspension load and motor mounts less than perfect may have caused a mis-alignment resulting in vibration. At this point that is my best guess Thanks for the input,Kinda a strange problem! Happy New Year!
P.s. In response to CHAZ'S thought of snow or ice build up: I can imagine how an inbalance could occur in slushy condition which would then freeze. I have seen this happen in mud with similar inbalance occuring. However in this case the roads were dry. Thanks again any ideas would be appreciated! jk
