It's not too bad a job. The one thing to keep in mind is that it can be a bit greasy because of the way the tracks are lubricated, so you'll want to be able to clean your hands a lot when you reinstall the sunroof.
Run it about half way back and remove the 4 torx screws at the front that hold in the outer panel. Slide the panel forward, pull it up a bit, and finish sliding it out. Be careful not to scratch it in the roof opening.
Then move the sunroof base pan forward. You'll see 4 plated brackets, each held to the base panel with 2 10-mm nuts. Scribe the outline of each of the brackets on the base panel (or use masking tape for the outline outline) so you relocate them accurately when you reinstall. You'll need to remove both of the rear brackets, which are connected to the cables which go back to the motor - when it comes time to pull out the base panel, you can flip them up a bit.
Don't lose the spring clips that are in the ends of the brackets. You'll know what they are when you see them.
Remove one of the front brackets. You can now slip the base pan to the side and disengage the bracket from the rail. Now you can carefully push it out through the opening.
Reinstallation is relatively straightforward. Just wash your hands a lot so you don't get grease on the headliner. BTDT ;-(
