Suspension creak even with bushings greased - help!

My dealer, at my request, lubed all the suspension bushings since I was getting a very loud creaking noise when going over road that shifted camber or height. I was told they had more or less cured it, but when I drove off, the noise sounded exactly the same. UGH!
The car has new Boge shocks, new ball joints, and new urethane shock bushings. The creaking seems to be coming from both sides (or maybe the center). The steering is somewhat slow to recenter itself too. (It doesn't leak though, and seems perfectly fine otherwise) Based on another car I restored, and went through many suspension upgrades, here are my thoughts:
1. Urethane bushings are the culprit - maybe they need to be lubed or switch back to rubber?
2. New front shocks are bad
3. Bad engine or transmission mount (but the car doesn't vibrate or anything like that)
4. The ball joints where they mount to the control arms (they do mount to the control arms, right??
4. Ugh....the steering rack?
I'm taking the car tomorrow to my trusted mechanic who helped me restore my Peugeot 405 Mi16 (and who did a stellar job). Any advice on what to tell him? The car didn't make this noise until the ball joints were replaced last fall. It is also much worse in the cold.
Thanks to all,
Paul H.
