Those torx bolts are a pain. Here's what my friendly neighborhood Saab tech suggested:
For the locating stud on the front rotor, use only a *6-sided* deep 10mm socket.
For the torx, front and rear: go to Sears, Home Depot or wherever and buy an impact driver (pic below). You put a torx bit on it, and give it a good whack with a hammer. The driver twists when you hit it. Works very well and shouldn't cost more than ~$20. I have removed perhaps a dozen rotors with this tool with no problems, even without penetrant.
