Here's my problem: I can't remember the positions of any wires other than those on the starter switch, for which I drew and labeled a diagram. I do remember there being some kind of weird circuit that looped thru both the reverse switch and positional contacts on the auto gear selector knob and concluding that I couldn't tell which wires were for what from their positions on the auto box.
So I'm basically staring at what's left over from the connected ignition switch now and trying to figure out what does what; otherwise I'm looking at a couple days (that I really don't have) of trial and error. And just for fun it apppears that the colors specified in my wiring diagram relate to nothing that I have available after restoring the original ignition switch connections. So a picture of the original positions might be most helpful.
Here's whats still loose:
2 bare spade terminals,
1 w/double orange wires and
1 w/single white wire
and 2 in those little black plastic "boots"
1 w/double white wires, one of which has a blue stripe and
1 w/single white wire.
Anybody recognize any of these?
