There are many convertibles with SPG panels mounted. Some are from the SiS (1988 Springtime in Sweden) and others are from the 1991 SE (special editions, ie: Platana gray & Monte Carlo Yellow). These are the correct panels. I have two 91 convertibles with the correct rear bumper extensions.
The difference between the SPG rear bumper extensions and the SE or SiS rear bumper extensions are shown in the photo below. The SE or SiS panel is straight across the top where it meets the rear wheel opening. The SPG panel has a raised section at the wheel opening. There is also a length difference of about 1/2 inch, although I have seen many SPG panels installed on convertibles. See photo here:
