So I don't think it needs to be anything very special at all.
The original line has that loosely-woven cloth outer jacket, and looks exactly like Jap and European carbureted car fuel line (low pressure) and I'd guess a length of that would do.
Or just drop by a Saab indy and they'd probably let you get one off a parts car at minimal expense. Or a junkyard. I'm sure a used one would work fine for almost ever.
Original has those spring-clip clamps at top and bottom; I like them better than worm-drive hose clamps as there's never a question what is tight enough, and hose never gets cut or crushed. I deal with them usually by compressing with pliers or mini Vise Grips and sliding them down the hose an inch or so, beyond the inner barb. Then leave them there while wiggling hose off and back on, then slide back into place.
If you're buying new line and don't have a digital micrometer to get a number for spigot diameter, just set the jaws of an adjustable wrench exactly to slide over the narrow part of the spigot, and take wrench with you to a parts place. I'd say about 1/4" or a touch less.
Or take the un-installed master cylinder with you.
