often the clutch slave leaks into the basin in the transmission. it can hold alot of stuff, especially if you get any dirt or dust, it makes a goo of grease like crap. it's all hidden under the plastic shell around the transmission. you can loose alot of fluid and wonder where it went, but it will be there...
