Forgot what the thread is but, if you take one of the Allen screws to a good hardware store (even some Home Despot locations), you can match threading and length. My local Ace Hware had the hex bolts in stainless.
That doesn't alleviate *all* of the pain of R&Ring the slave, but it makes it somewhat easier.
