So,
my fan is still not running...(and the model is a 900i 3doors 8V hatchback 88 model, not 87... AC disconnected, no relay in J position in fuse box - (cooling fan AC) - the fan used to work - certainly from time to time because I experienced over heating with that car - my model was produced for the French market since this is where I'm leaving)
- I switched the two bosch relays,
- I bypass the thermo switch, the middle bosch relay is clicking but the fan is not running.
- I checked all the fuses.
- I don't know where is the timer relay (not on the left side as generally indicated here - no relay in this area - may be one of the three I indicated in my first message ? - perhaps the Wehrle 20 201 100 - very strange by the way, there's no wire going to (or out?) the 87a).
- I replace the werhle by a new one
- I ordered a new bosch
- The fan is running when connected by two wires directly to the battery
that wehrle is a basic relay (85/86 -> 30 --- 87a/87) - the boschs are not that classic- look like a dual make (85/86 -->30 none / 87b and 87)
