The bad thing about Florida and SAABS is that there are exactly 6 shops in the entire state who will work on them. And if you don't know where they are and/or don't know about saabnet, you're S.O.L.
The body on this one is darn near perfect - except for the missing window scraper on the driver's door and the missing passenger mirror... The owner broke the key off, found a 'new' cylinder in the junkyard and had it installed - and in the process hacked the shit out of the center console - AND - screwed up the shifter which I assume is reverse lockout/alignment related.
Driver's side fan has a rigged switch hardwired to a toggle, there's a new passenger's side fan in the front seat, ignition coil is mounted to the pass side firewall, driver's side latch non functional... The owner didn't understand that a) it's a hydraulic system and b) the same fluid is for both brake & clutch - He added fluid and had pedals ...
There was MINIMAL oil in it and small floaters in the coolant reservoir, skidplate was clean - probably because there was no oil in it !
The good news - four brand new tires, new coil, new distributor... and a new ignition cylinder.
