check two fuses in the engine bay, up-down switch on console, emergency brake switch. remove bottom of rear seat and check the pump and hoses for leaks, top off with mineral oil if needed. older hydraulics tend to be slow and might need help raising and lowering. my ultimate leak test was when i was caught in a horrendous rainstorm with gale force winds, little water trickled from the top of windshield but the rest of car was dry.'91TC
