Thanks, I verified that the fluids are correct type and topped off, and the lugs are tight. The sound is subtle, not super loud, however definitely in the drivetrain somewhere. It's like a tooth is broken in a gear and as you start to move it's jumping teeth, but when you let off or get moving it goes away. Is there a way to check the final drive for damage without removing the engine? Would damaged axle shafts make this type of noise? Just trying to avoid the inevitable auto tranny demise.
