I'd really caution against sticking Barrs etc in there.
You are going to have to do the valve anyway and it's really not a hard job.
Mostly through the speaker opening.
If you are on the road, some hardware store pipe fittings to plug the hoses at the firewall would be a good plan. The coolant will make a real mess of the carpets.
