question for the general bb, and your potential 1995 900 vert falls into the NG900 category (search that bb before buying for tips what to look for)...
I'll give this a stab, someone can correct me if I do a poor job: Saabs are largely named following aircraft convention (not sure the scope of that convention, or if this was just a SAAB Aerospace thing) as 9-something where "something" refers to the number of digits... so a 9-3 means the same thing as a 900... older cars didn't have a dash (92, 95, 96, 99 etc)... in the 80's-90's the whole number was displayed (900, 9000)... in the late 90's the convention was changed to the current format of a 9 followed by a superscript, which we write 9-3, 9-5, 9-4x etc (where x indicates awd capability, usually raised also, as there are 9-3's with xwd and no x in the name)... in the modern era, the second number tends to be somewhat correlated to the vehicle size...
confusing?
James...
