vaccuum diagram and hall sensor connector?

Just got my 88 spg sort of back up on the road with a 91 turbo motor, and managed to frig the hall effect sensor wiring together, sans the protective boot. It's a very loose connection, and has come off twice already in less than 50 miles of driving. Of course, when it comes off, the car immediately dies, and I have to look for a safe pull off. The 91 distributor has a sensor with the connector spades at a 90 degree angle to how the three spades are on the 88 harness. The connector was split to take either way, but the securing cover and bracket were not compatible.
Is there any reasonable source for these connectors, or will I have to purchase that entire section of the wiring harness?
The reason for using the 91 distributor was that the 250K mile-plus dizzy off the 88 motor was leaking oil up the shaft, so swapping back to the old one isn't much of an option.
On the other subject line, does anyone have a clear vaccuum line diagram so I can double check that all is correct in my connections? I hooked up the apc solenoid on the radiator bracket as in the Bentley manual, but much of the other lines seem to be a guessing game. I have one line across the back of the engine bay attached to the firewall that I could not find a connection for, and I'm not sure that the plastic boost bypass valve is hooked to a functioning source of vaccuum either, as the three connectors on top of the throttle housing don't seem to pull any suction...
