Wierd Day-No Brakes Posted by np [Email] (#244) [Profile/Gallery] (more from np) on Mon, 5 Dec 2011 19:01:23 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Early today, while going to pickup up my daughter, I had the brake fluid and antilock light come on, the braking became difficult and the radio went dead. Thought the radio going dead was wierd, everything else worked fine.
As I tried to find a safe place to park the car, the brake fuild light went off and the brakes started working as normal. Since the brake pressure came back, I decided to drive a couple extra miles home with one hand on the emergency brake.
A few hours later, I couldn't even start the car as if it was a bad alternator.
I had the alternator and master cylinder replaced about 2 years ago. The brake accumulator does need replacing, however can't believe it would cause the car not to start.
I'm going to have it towed to my indy, however any thoughts would be much appreciated.
