bumper extensions coming loose is the bane of my existence! ok, not quite, but it is annoying...
I have started re-engineering some of these things also. A few of those screws came loose on one of mine due to rust etc. I have a full set of spare extensions, so I just swapped, but I will do like you've done. My bigger problem there is the whole extension slides on those tracks + then pops off (winter phenomenon, with slush working at them)... this also tends to lose the rubber "seals" that fit on top of the extensions (allowing more slush/salt in + making the problem worse in the future)... that the extensions tend to warp also does not help things!
What I have done is replace all the bloody sheet metal screws going into clips (holding lower parts of the extensions to the car) with brass or ss bolts, locknuts, and washers. The parts I'm still having trouble with are those fender clips. There's gotta be a better way to attach the upper parts of the extensions to the fenders... they are the first things to come loose in winter conditions... then the whole assembly slides on the tracks + eventually comes off at the top (still held on at the bottom, but hanging loose from the top)...
As an aside... Is it still even possible to buy individual Dynaudio drivers? I thought they gave up on that years ago? Maybe for car only?
James...
