in place, not bolted up like later cars. i'm assuming you meant the whole fender, not just a part of it. so you will need to take a rivet remover and a cordless drill if you're at the junk yard trying to get them.
if you're just going to cut the fender pieces you need, IF you can find a car of the same colour as yours, you may find your repainting/blending goes a little easier.
Your other option on the doors may be to just purchase replacement ones. Easy to bolt up, and you have a lot years to choose from.
people have used the skandix frame repair pieces to good effect, so perhaps their body repair pieces might be the way to go if you don't to either sweat/freeze at a junkyard!
