'91 900 vert, nonturbo, automatic. Stalled in road at idle, re-fired without issue. No problems next day. Now, no start. Cranks over fine, but no indication of firing. When key is first turned on (to run position), fuel pump runs for several seconds, then stops. Pulled spark plug wire, inserted spare plug, grounded to block, cranked, no apparent spark. Got dark outside, turned to Saabnet. Crank position sensor? How can I test? Any other ideas? It's been a bad day - wanted to fire up the vert, because my 9000 blew the head gasket on the way home from work. Right now, 2 dead Saabs. Help!
