Mr. Landjet, I've got a question perhaps you can answer. I've got an '88 vert. I know my way around cars fairly well, but electrical is NOT my thing. The speedo itself is dead. Just the speedo. I've got the '91 140 speedo. I want to swap it into my instument cluster. Physically I can see that it will fit. I know I'll have to change the speedo cable because of the connector at the speedo end. I have that cable. Here's the real question: On the '88 spedo it has the small "hockey-stick" shaped circut board with the two terminals at the top to recieve the plug. On the back of the '91 speedo it has a three prong connector to the left of the speedo cable input. What are these connections for and is there a way to get around this problem and make the '91 speedo work with my '88's electrics? I wish both speedos had the same number of terminals, at least that way I'd guess that it would be more straightforward. Any info from you as to cross-fitting this speedo would really be appreciated. Thanks in advance, Bob T.
