I would go the pro route too as the 'vert windshield is one of a kind. You are kind of between a rock & a hard spot on whether it is better to practice on the removal with the damaged glass or go for it on the good glass. There is a special wire tool to cut through the seal which makes it easier. However, when removing it from the donor, I would cut away the seal IF the seal on your '93 is in good shape. It will take two people, one inside & one outside to get it out in one piece. There should be no adhesive holding it in place just the plastic strip. Another down side is if you nick the glass on any of the edges it will for certain leak! Soapy water will help to get it into the gasket when installing.
